It depends largely on your needs. The advantages of electric cars include: quiet driving, fast acceleration, automatic transmission, the ability to ‘refuel’ at night and no emissions when driving. The disadvantages include: fewer charging stations than petrol stations, shorter range than a conventional fuel car and often no tow bar.
You will almost always find that an electric car cannot drive as far as the car manufacturer states. Car manufacturers state a theoretical range according to the WLTP standard, which is rarely possible to achieve in reality. Therefore, expect a shorter range than stated. The range is also affected by driving style, outside temperature, speed and the use of power-consuming equipment in the car.
The electric car can be charged at all available charging stations, whether in the United Kingdom or if you need to use the car to drive outside the United Kingdom's borders – it can be charged anywhere. No, we do not charge a fee for young drivers. You can rent a car at the same price even if you are under 25. In some cases, we will charge a higher deposit, but this will be refunded at the end of the rental period. We also have an age restriction on certain cars.
